Per is the CEO of Wimmer Financial  and international corporate financial advisory firm, which he founded on the 50th anniversary of Sputnik day, October 4, 2007.

Per is also a founding astronaut with Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic; held a ticket to be the first astronaut on board the XCOR Lynx rocketplane (now cancelled) and holds a trip to space reservation with Space Adventures.
