NDA Attends England Rugby Kensington Palace Dinner
/Shk. Nadia and Shk. Deena Aldoseri were recently invited to attend the England Rugby Kensington Palace Dinner, in aid of the Jonny Wilkinson Foundation and Try for Change.
The charity’s aim is to ‘positively impact mental health, reduce mental health stigma, and help people realise their potential and flourish.
Held at the prestigious Kensington Palace, the night included a silent auction of Rugby memorabilia, a sit down meal, and a large attendance of high profile individuals.
The England rugby team, including Eddie Jones, Lawrence Dallagio, Jason Leonard and Brad Shields entered the room to a big round of applause, and there was a live Q+A session with England co-captain Dylan Hartley and the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, lead by Martin Bayfield.
Prince Harry has been a lifelong fan of Rugby and even played when he was in school. He met with the squad during the dinner, and praised sport's "amazing ability to change people's lives".
Overall the night was a big success, with both money and awareness raised for an amazing cause.
